Verona is romantic and absolutely beautiful – my favourite place in Italy so far. This medieval city is known amongst locals and visitors alike as being the setting for Shakespeare’s tragic love story Romeo & Juliet. You are able to visit Juliet’s House and see Juliet’s balcony as well as Juliet’s wall featuring thousands of love notes written by visitors. Verona has actually been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as it it home to many significant historical buildings.
It seems that Venice was the city that I photographed the most – take a peak at my favourites here.
